Due to the pandemic ISI NucMed 2021 edition is cancelled.
We will let you know the date for a new edition as soon as possible.

What is ISI NucMed?

ISI NucMed means Interdisciplinary School In Nuclear Medicine.
Over three days, 35 participants will deepen their knowledge in three main fields of nuclear medicine research. They have the opportunity to meet some of the best international experts in radionuclide production, artificial intelligence for medical image analysis, and theranostic approaches.
Lectures, pratical works and visits take place in three major research centres in nuclear medicine in Nantes : Arronax, Centrale Nantes and University of Nantes.

Why ISI NucMed?

To introduce the participants to all the aspects associated with the development of a radiopharmaceutical from the isotope production to the clinical trial.
This school integrates a deliberate interdisciplinary ambition to better prepare students for the challenges of the future of the health and industry fields concerned by nuclear medicine. Nuclear medicine has experienced considerable growth in recent years and innovative approaches require multidisciplinary work ranging from physics and nuclear chemistry to medicine, including biology, pharmacy, medical physic and computer science.
The development of radioactive drugs, multi-modality imaging and innovative radiotherapy approaches represent one of the priority areas of Arronax Nantes, a multidisciplinary cluster in nuclear medicine bringing together not only multidisciplinary academic expertise but also industrial partners capable of promoting the research work resulting from this network.
